From event organizer and longtime LAFMS supporter Takuya Sakaguchi:
“Slow Spirit of the Cassette” is a cassette-listening party featuring fantastic audio works from Los Angeles Free Music Society (LAFMS, California, USA), Pinakotheca Records (Tokyo, Japan), Ptôse Production Présente (Nior, France) and others. We had it at gallery and café in the past and the newest program is brought in the very nice and popular vegan restaurant Nagi Shokudo. Various cassettes which were made in periods ranging from 70’s to 10’s will be replayed.
On this occasion, “Slow Life Avant-garde”, the series of programs featuring representation of LAFMS-related and other attractive video and music works, which was started 7 years ago, is combined. And it will result in a presentation using multiple media.
Vegan curried rice will be served and good sake (Japanese wine) will be prepared. This program begins at 11am and is completed at 5pm. Number of audience is limited to 20.
Takuya Sakaguchi curates and FUKUGAN GALLERY (Osaka, Japan) assents this program. Akinobu Oda of Nagi Shokudo who has released number of cooking books for vegan serves the great vegan curried rice.
